Cyber Awareness Program Conducted at University Post Graduate College, Secunderabad

Secunderabad: A comprehensive Cyber Awareness Program was successfully conducted at University Post Graduate College Secunderabad with the primary objective of educating students about cyber security, emerging cyber crimes, and the importance of digital safety in today’s technology-driven world.

The initiative was taken by Srinivas Reddy, President of MSWC, whose leadership played a key role in organizing the program for the benefit of students. The event was organized in collaboration with PTC Medchal staff and the Cyber Matrix 1337 Team, demonstrating a strong partnership between law enforcement training institutions and cyber security professionals.

The program was graced by Hathi Ram, who delivered the introductory address highlighting how PTC Medchal is equipping police officers with modern technological knowledge. He emphasized that under the vision of P. Madhukar Swamy, every police officer should be trained in cyber security and Artificial Intelligence to effectively combat modern digital crimes.

Further strengthening the awareness initiative, Venkateshwarlu, CI, delivered an impactful session on drug abuse, explaining how individuals, especially youth, are becoming victims of substance addiction and the serious consequences associated with it.

The technical cyber security session was delivered by K Rahul, CTO of Cyber Matrix 1337, who provided detailed insights into ethical hacking, current cyber crime trends, and how frauds are being executed in today’s digital ecosystem. He educated students on practical preventive measures to stay safe online and encouraged them to use technology responsibly.

The session received an overwhelming response from students and faculty members. In recognition of the impactful initiative, the program was featured in DC Paper, highlighting its importance and social relevance.

The Cyber Awareness Program successfully enhanced students’ understanding of cyber threats, digital responsibility, and the need for awareness in both cyber security and social issues.
